Accelerating Clean Transportation Adoption

Our Three Pillars of Impact Explained

1. Demystify

We make clean transportation understandable, approachable, and actionable for the public, fleets, and policymakers.

Services & Projects:

  • National Campaigns, Local Delivery: Professionally produced, brand-agnostic materials distributed nationwide and customized by local coalitions.

  • Dealer & Fleet Training: Helping sales teams, service managers, and fleet operators understand the capabilities of clean fuels and EVs.

  • Community Outreach: School programs, student presentations, and myth-busting campaigns that engage the next generation.

  • Technical Workshops: Focused sessions for fleets, utilities, and contractors on vehicle technologies, duty-cycle analysis, charging/fueling infrastructure, and cost savings.

  • Stakeholder Listening Sessions: Targeted outreach for multi-family housing (MFH) managers, local governments, and property developers to address barriers to EV charging access.

  • Unique Audiences: Partnerships with professional motorsports and other high-visibility platforms to shift public perception of clean transportation technologies.

Outcome: Widespread awareness, grounded in trusted local relationships, that empowers people and organizations to act.

2. Demonstrate

We create hands-on experiences that prove clean fuels and vehicles work in real applications.

Services & Projects:

  • Ride & Drive Events: Fleet managers and the public can experience alternative fuel and EV technologies firsthand.

  • Pilot Projects: Locally managed demonstrations of clean fuels and advanced vehicles to prove viability in diverse duty cycles and geographies.

  • Data Collection & Analysis: Monitoring fuel use, emissions reductions, and cost savings to provide credible results.

  • Case Studies & Toolkits: Publishing lessons learned and practical guidance that accelerates replication.

  • Deployment Tours: Organizing site visits to fueling stations, charging hubs, manufacturing facilities, and fleets with successful clean vehicle programs.

  • Industry Engagement: Coordinating tours of alternative fuel and equipment manufacturing sites to highlight domestic job creation and supply chain impact.

Outcome: Trusted proof points that catalyze adoption by reducing risk and increasing confidence.

3. Deploy

We help fleets and communities implement clean transportation at scale.

Services & Projects:

  • Technical Assistance & Fleet Coaching: From duty-cycle analysis to transition planning, we guide fleets through decision-making.

  • Grant Support: Coalitions assist fleets and municipalities with grant applications, compliance, and reporting to unlock millions in federal, state, and private funding.

  • Hands-On Deployment: Coalition staff provide direct support to ensure infrastructure and vehicle projects succeed.

  • Workforce Development: Technician and first responder training programs build local capacity to support new technologies.

  • Best Practices Identification: Sharing lessons from successful projects to reduce costs and speed adoption.

  • Utility Coordination: Acting as trusted intermediaries between fleets, utilities, and regulators to address grid impacts and streamline interconnection.

  • Fueling Hub Planning: Mapping and coordinating throughput for strategic hubs that ensure long-term accessibility of clean fuels.

Outcome: Durable, scalable clean transportation projects that deliver measurable GHG reductions and economic benefits.

At The Clean Transportation Network, we strive to foster collaboration across the Clean Cities and Communities (CC&C) network, elevate awareness of coalition projects, and champion the transition to clean fuels and electric vehicles. Together, we strive to shape a future where clean transportation is the norm.

Our Mission

To spread awareness of the benefits of advanced domestic, clean transportation fuels and technologies through nationally branded education and awareness campaigns, securing funding for Clean Cities and Communities (CC&C) coalitions in the network, helping coalitions secure their own funding, and providing support and guidance to Coalitions.

“Our goal is to remove the barriers to adoption of clean transportation technologies and practices in every community across the US.”
