Accelerating Market Transformation Through Partnerships

For more than 30 years, Clean Cities and Communities (CC&C) coalitions have played a critical role in advancing clean transportation across the United States—educating fleets, training technicians, supporting infrastructure development, and helping communities adopt cleaner transportation solutions that reduce transportation emissions and criteria pollutants.

What makes this work successful is local trust paired with technical expertise. From rural school districts adopting alternative fuels to cities transitioning to electric and hydrogen fleets, coalitions operate where decisions are made and vehicles are deployed.

The Clean Transportation Network (CTN) was formed by coalition leaders to coordinate and strengthen this work at a national scale—connecting national strategy with on-the-ground execution through trusted local coalitions.
