Pittsburgh Region Clean Cities (PRCC)
Our Story
Pittsburgh Region Clean Cities (PRCC) is a cornerstone of the Mid-Atlantic’s alternative fuel landscape. Designated by the U.S. Department of Energy in 1995, PRCC is a standalone 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving a vast 33-county territory across Western Pennsylvania. The coalition is currently led by Interim Executive Director Kristen Sabol and is governed by a dedicated board and advisory committee. PRCC bridges the gap between urban innovation in Pittsburgh and the unique energy needs of rural Pennsylvania, fostering a diverse ecosystem of clean mobility stakeholders.
